Description

On the north (rear) elevation elements of articulation are limited to the scarps, which separate (as in the front elevation) the 11 segments. The walls between the buttresses are plain, punctuated only by slit windows, indicating that there were no major openings here. As on the front, two segments were secondarily pierced by wide gates.
