Tower at the junction of the aisles
Description
Practically speaking, it has existed since the construction of the Kolbata church. It was always a wooden structure. It was struck by lightning as early as 1253. It acquired its Baroque form in 1767 and its present neo-Gothic form in 1851-1852. On 17.12.1976, the lighthouse collapsed under the pressure of a gale. It was rebuilt in its historic form in 2011-2012. It consists of a timber-framed shaft and an octagonal lantern topped by a slender pyramidal cupola with pointed openings, ending in a ball and cross. Originally the walls of the shaft were topped with clock faces. The base of the helmet above the clearances is crowned with triangular peaks forming a crown-like shape.
