- Description
- The Baroque tombstone of the Archpriest of St Mary's Church Dominic Lochman (d. 1742) was founded by his successor, Fr Jacek Lopacki, and designed by Francesco Placidi. It was made of black marble with an oval portrait of the deceased on tin in the finial. Below, in the pedestal, the epitaphs of the arch-presbyters of St Mary's are inserted: Hieronim Powodowski, canon of Gniezno and Cracow (d. 1613), with the Łodzia coat of arms (funded by Tomasz Oborski, bishop of Laodice and suffragan of Cracow), and Krzysztof Trzciński (d. 1640), with the Sulima coat of arms.
