- Description
- The painting 'St Joseph with Christ and the Foundress' depicts the walking figure of St Joseph leading Christ by the hand with his hand raised in a gesture of blessing. At the bottom right is a half-figure of the Foundress with her hands folded. Saint Joseph holds a lily in his left hand. In the background above Saint Joseph's head, God the Father emerging from the clouds full of angels, extends his hand towards Christ. Above Christ's head, centrally in the clouds, the Holy Spirit hovers. In 1992, after restoration, the painting was moved to the interior of the church. Previously, it was located on its exterior wall.
