- Description
- The portrait was originally accompanied by the inscription: 'Güntherus villam vicinam, quae Rubus audit; Puschvorwerk vulgo, comparat aere siuis. / Hinc cum proveniant huiusque cibaria nostrae / Altorem merito dicimus esse domus". He incorporated the purchased village of Puszczyki (near Żagań) into the convent's property, from where numerous landed estates were given to the monastery. He was referred to as the Provider.
