Description
The altar, made of black marble, was founded by Lazarus Derjakubowicz, a Kraków councillor, in 1748. In its central part there is a painting depicting the "Resurrection of Lazarus". The painting is framed in a gilded frame, with relief ornaments in the form of a rose branch superimposed in the centre of each side. The central figure of the painting is Jesus with outstretched arms, descending the steps to the tomb. In the lower right of the painting is the figure of Saint Lazarus rising from the tomb. At the top of the altarpiece is a painting depicting St Margaret. At the very top of the altarpiece is a cross with a crown.
