Description

Made around 1600, the statue of St George did not come to the cathedral until the 1960s from the Diocesan Museum in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The statue depicts the saint as a young man with a striking face, in costume reminiscent of the Roman army, hitting a dragon lying at his feet with a spear.
