- Description
- A pulpit supported by a 1.5 m high column shaft was placed on the third pillar. On the balustrade are painted, in Byzantine style, the four figures of the Evangelists. The pulpit consists of a body, canopy, foot and stair balustrade. The body, bordered at the top and bottom by moulded cornices, is divided into four fields filled with standing figures of the Evangelists. The six-sided canopy has been decorated with faint floral ornament and has a rayed bas-relief dove placed in the palate. The foot is cannelled. Panelled stair balustrade.
