- The portrait was originally accompanied by the inscription: 'Jaeschkendorf, Marsdorf nostras Dynasta Soranus / Extorquet villas, tradere codit eas. / Sistere divina ex templo quoque cedere jussus / Est et praecones solvat ut aere novos". Jaszkowice and Marszów were seized by the Żarski lord (Hieronim Biberstein), demanding their relinquishment. He was forbidden access to the church and the offering of mass. A new preacher was appointed, whom he had to pay.
