- The portrait was originally accompanied by the inscription: 'Confirmat primum hunc Abbatem Papa Sagano, / Graefenhain, Quilitz, qui dedit emta suis. / Communem inducit vitam vestes volendo / Communes praebet, quod quis habebat opus". Approved by the Pope as abbot of Żagań, he bought Grotów (near Przewoz) and Kwielice (near Głogów). He introduced uniform vestments and adhered to the principle - to each according to his needs.
