- The portrait was originally accompanied by the inscription: 'Consiliis sumtis ab Arena hic ipse vocatur. / Adveniens nostram vindicat ecclesiam. / Inviti excedunt adversi, pensio cessat, / Respirat modicum hoc Praesule nostra domus". He came from Sand Island (Augustinian monastery in Wrocław). He restored the previously taken church and order. The payment of tributes ended and the monastery could breathe for this caring host.
