- Out of three candidates, King Frederick (II Hohenzollern) chose him as abbot. However, he imposed a high tax on him. He extended the church at Górka (Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary) with a magnificent tower. He built a new manor house in Jablonowo (near Żagań).
