- The portrait was originally accompanied by the inscription: 'Indictus hic zelo diserto munia quaevis / Implet Praelati prosperitate fruens; / Census, qui Ducibus quondam et frumenta dabantur, / Lignandi et perpes jus Fredericus emit'. He carried out each task diligently and happily held office. He saw to it that the rents for the monastery were increased and that permission was granted to cut wood in the forest free of charge.
