- The portrait was originally accompanied by the inscription: 'Ex aula electus Pragensis Metropolitae / Activus totus Sixtus ab inde venit / Pluribus intentum nostrae domus emolumentis / Heu, subplantavit mors inimica cito'. Elected to the court of the metropolitan in Prague, he accepted the abbey willingly. He outlined various useful plans. Unfortunately, a merciless death snatched him away too soon.
