- Description
- The jury stalls represent the same phase of the South German Renaissance in redaction as the neighbouring councillor stalls. In this case, however, the architectural structure is stronger, more expressive (columns instead of frail pillars, the baldachin beams strongly protruding on the rafters), richer articulation of the zapieckas (arcades between pilasters), more varied panels (circular inserts of veneer of a colour different from the background). In the pew stalls, a characteristic element is a flattened shell above the arcade in one of the bays of the bracket and a diamond-shaped panel on the baldachin's palate.
