- Placed to the right of the diagonal wall enclosing the organ prospect in a bas-relief wreath was the tied initial of the duke in mirror image. It was composed of the letters E B D C (i.e. Ernestus Bogislaus Dux Croyae - Ernst Bogislaw von Croÿ), above which was placed the duke's mitre. The painted wreath held by two female figures was not painted on until 1938.
