Description

The stained glass window refers to the oath taken on April 1, 1656, during the Swedish Deluge, by King Jan II Kazimierz Waza in the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lviv. Stained glass design by the painter Drapiewski; while it was performed by Stanisław Powalisz from Poznań. At the bottom, in the bases of the candelabra, the following dates are integrated: 1656 and 1945 (year of execution).
