St. Zygmunt
Description
A large painting of St. Zygmunt, the patron of Płock, it depicts a tall man in an armour with a crown and a sceptre. At the bottom, the coat of arms of Burgundy, on the left a well, the place of martyr death of the king. The image is not of a religious nature, but it was originally placed in the side chapel, above the altar, in the place of the window, from where it was transferred to the Diocesan Museum at the beginning of the 20th century during the reconstruction of the cathedral.
