Description
In the centre, St Norbert, turning his head to the left, stands facing forward in habit on a podium covered with a carpets and blesses a woman kneeling before him. She is depicted in profile wearing a long dress and waist-length kaftan with her head wrapped around it. Standing at his sides are two head-facing monks with their hands folded on their chests in a prayer gesture.

In the lower corners of the relief, kneeling by the platform, shown in profile, are a monk (right) and (left) a man in cloak and pludders, and behind him can be seen in bust another lay man wearing a cap. In the background are two arcades supported by columns. In the light of the right arcade a chalice and behind it a cross. At the far side behind the balustered handrails of the staircase are the heads of crowded observers.

Relief based on Th.Galle's engraving no.19 from 'Vita S. Norberti' a book annotated and published by Ch. van der Sterre in Antwerp in 1622.
