Description
An early medieval reliquary with the remains of St Cordula, was in the cathedral treasury before 1945. It is not known how it came to Stone. According to various theories, it could have been, for instance, a gift from the Danish bishops of Lund, a gift from Duke Racibor I captured during a war expedition in 1136, or even arrived in Pomerania together with the Christianising mission of Bishop Otto of Bamberg. It was not documented in the cathedral treasury until the 15th century. It has been missing since 1945.
