Description
On one of the most dynamic quarters of the altarpiece, the Risen Christ seems to dance in the air, only lightly touching the tomb. A voluminous mantle swirls around his body moved by some invisible force. The heavy stone slab, however, remains intact. The sleeping soldiers in the finely depicted armour did not notice anything either. The Messiah had conquered death by penetrating the walls of the tomb effortlessly.
