- Description
- Mary holds the martyred body of Christ on her knees. The right hand of Our Lady supports Christ’s head, her left hand holds Saviours’ hand. Jesus rests with his face up. The hips of Christ are tied with perizoma. The body of Christ is depicted with realistically painted wounds and trickles of blood.
