- The blind rosette in the gable is a work of the Brandenburg workshop created in the second, early Gothic phase of construction, i.e. before 1307. According to Zbigniew Radacki - "it is the most monumental example (...) of the detailing of French cathedrals east of the Oder".

- Description
- The rosette is a composition of ceramic shapes with a large, plastered blank as a background. It consists of an eight-pointed star and sixteen small six-leaved rosettes surrounding it. The centre of the composition is a ring, round in the middle and octagonal on the outside, from which radial columns arranged one on top of the other form the arms of the star, between which triple arches in the shape of a cloverleaf are spread. Six-sided rosettes are arranged on the axis of the columns and the tops of the arms of the large star. The whole is surrounded by a brick surround.
