Description

14th century; Serbian-Macedonian school; until World War II, the icon had been located at a Dominican church of the Body of Christ in Lviv; greatly worshipped thereabout; pope Benedict XIV authorized the icon's coronation, which was performed by the archbishop of Lviv, Mikołaj Ignacy Wyżycki on lst July 1751.
