- In the painting by Felix A. Scheffler, Ursula and her companions are attacked by the Huns on the way back from Rome. In the centre, there is Ursula stabbed with an arrow. Above her, an angel holds a wreath of lilies – a symbol of virginity of the Saint. In the background, the panorama of Cologne with an unfinished cathedral.
