- The portrait was originally accompanied by the inscription: 'Magnificam ecclesiam pro Briesnicensibus amplat, / In Luthroeth, Bullendorf struxit et ipse domus. / Mansuetus, clemens, carus confratribuc et quos / Dilexit vere semper amore patris". He magnificently expanded the church in Brzeźnica (near Żagań) from stone. He also built houses in Lutnia (now part of the city) and Bulina (near Kożuchów). He was always calm, gentle and caring to his brothers. He treated all those around him in a fatherly manner.
