- The portrait was originally accompanied by the inscription: 'Camisias ex lino aufert, veteremque rigorem / Urget divinumque ordinat officium, / Comparat ornatus sacros; pars optima silvae, / Coy vulgo, nobis tollitur invidia'. A proponent of strict rule, he banned the wearing of linen nightgowns. He established daily masses. He took care of the church equipment. Unfortunately, the monastery lost a magnificent part of the forest called Koj through envy.
