- Description
- Saint Ambrose depicted standing, in a strongly moved pose. The saint is dressed in episcopal liturgical vestments. In his peacock hand, the Saint holds a pastoral, his left hand supports his cloak. To the right of the figure, at the bottom, a bee basket is visible - a symbol of the body and eloquence.
