- The portrait was originally accompanied by the inscription: 'Templum restaurat duo comparat organa, vestes / Sacras, ornatus, qui studiosus erat. / Concessa est nostris Abbatibus infula tandem / Et Paulo ab aliis collicitata diu". He restored the church, purchased the organ [small and large]. He acquired liturgical vestments. He achieved the infula for which many of his predecessors had striven.
