- Description
- The Mannerist Cellarich tombstone was inspired by the Montelupich tombstone on the opposite side. It is dedicated to members of the Cellari merchant family from Milan: Paul Cellari and his wife Margaret, née Chodorowska, and Andrew Cellari and his wife Margaret, née Mączyńska. The carved half figures are depicted in two tiers. The lower niches, with the female figures, are rectangular and the upper niches, with the male figures, are closed with a semicircle. The finial features a cartouche with the family coat of arms and statues: the Risen Christ in the centre and the allegories of Faith and Hope on the sides. The lower part of the monument is formed by a stele, which is also the pedestal of the tombstone.
